Last fall, Theresa, Kelly, and I decided to try our luck at craft fairs. For one of the fairs, we were supposed to bring an item valued at $25 for giveaways. I made this scrappy Christmas tree wallhanging.
This was one of my first attempts at free-motion quilting (FMQ) with my domestic sewing machine. I used my walking foot to quilt the straight lines of the tree, then did some FMQ in the background.
I didn't get a very good picture of the quilting (probably on purpose!). I put a hanging sleeve at the top.
My friend Kelly won first choice of the giveaways and she chose my tree wall hanging!
